This boy was a total ham in front of the camera and I loved having the chance to create these white background images of him.
Read MoreDomenica and Balou were the second horse and rider pair I had the pleasure of working with this year in our favorite gorgeous flower field! San Juan Capistrano completely bloomed with all of our rainfall and the sessions coming out of it are probably some of my favorites. Dominica had never done professional photos with her boy and it was a blast getting them off property to capture some magical memories at this location.

Capturing memories of her and Calvius was a true joy! As photographers, we have to remind ourselves to participate in our own photoshoots. Not only is this important to preserve memories, but we get the opportunity to feel what it is like for our clients to be in front of the lens!

This sweet boy Captain belonged to a dear friend of mine and I had the opportunity to work with him in preparation for building the canine portion of my website. It wasn’t long after this shoot that this boy would no longer be with us. Now his owner and everyone who loved him can cherish these sweet memories forever.

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph at the beautiful facility of Rancho Sierra Vista in San Juan Capistrano quite a few times, but never in the location I used for Ally and Carisio’s session. Instead of the typical sunset time slot, we opted to shoot closer to sunrise and let me tell you; total game changer for this facility!
